      Course is 5k out and 5k back (challenging hilly course)

    Pre-Race Day – Saturday, August 5th, 2017 @ 12:00pm – 4:00pm
    Race Day – Sunday, August 6th, 2017 @ 7:00am – 8:30am
    at the Peninsula Recreation Centre, Minett
  • T-shirts & Refreshments for Race Volunteers
  • Service Hours for High School Students
RACE INFORMATION
  • Registration will take place from 7:00 am to 8:15 am inside the Peninsula Rec Centre
  • T-shirts to all participants & volunteers
  • Water/Gatorade stations at 2k, 4k, 6k, 8k and the start/finish line
  • All finishers will receive a finisher’s medal: all age category 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishers will receive medals of their respective placing
  • Refreshments are for race participants only; volunteer refreshments are inside the rec centre
RACE HIGHLIGHTS
  • Race Capped at 500 runners
  • T-shirts to all participants & volunteers
  • Water and Gatorade Stations at start, 2 km and 4 km for the 5k
  • 2 km, 4 km, 6 km and 8 km for the 10 km.
  • Great post-race food
  • Timed by Speed River results

  • Finishers Medals to all runners
  • Prizing to Overall male/female & Masters 10K and Overall male/female & Masters 5K (run)
  • Awards to top three finishers in age categories 5 km and 10 km
  • Male/Female 5km – Under 10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
  • Male/Female 10 km – 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+
RACE RESTRICTIONS

We regret that this race is unsuitable for rollerblades, bicycles, and baby joggers. Wheelchairs and pets.

Thank you so much for supporting our efforts again this year. It was a fantastic race day. Over 500 Runner's participated in our three events!  The Kids Magical 1k was by far the most anticipated with family and friends cheering the little ones across the finish line....
